Our goal is to assist you and your dog in creating a relationship and life together that is enjoyable and benefits both ends of the leash. We believe that training begins the day your dog joins your family and that it is never too late to teach and change behaviors.
We take a multilayered approach to create clarity, communication, and understanding to help guide you toward your goals. This includes building a healthy relationship through understanding your dog and his or her psychological and physical needs and learning skills together. Motivation, positive and negative feedback, management, structure, consistency, play, nutrition, and appropriate outlets for your dog are all a part of our process.
We value and teach to the individual human and dog partnership in front of us and have a multitude of techniques and tools based on the needs of you and your dog. In addition to a relationship-based approach, we apply classical conditioning methods and all four quadrants of operant conditioning as appropriate to modify behavior and reinforce communication and understanding.
